Never been sure about trying online dating but at the age of Fifty-Three and having been alone for several years now, I have realized that I am going to remain that way for the remainder of my life. However that doesn't mean I want to be lonely for the rest of my life either, which is a big problem becuase I know who I am and what I wish I had in my life and what I have no interest in having in my life. These two things are in direct conflict with each other, not to mention the fact that as a person I am a complete mess. I don't say that with any meaning of self-depreciation, simply as a matter of fact. So it is my intention to give this online profile an honest try at finding someone that might be looking for the same things I think I am. So if you have read this far I guess this is where the honesty starts. Saying I am “Messed up” is part of that honesty. That is I have some serious medical issues, some emotional issues, physical isuues and well the list could go on. Everyone could probably sit and write a list just like the one I just did, but that is the easy part. Talking about them, why you have them and how they effect you thats the difficult part. Taking ownership of them and learning to deal with or live with them is the thing most people never manage. Manage is a very ambiguous word it can mean that you have a handle on those things that effect your life or that you live with them. Me personally I'm not always sure which “manage” I have in play with any issue at anytime.
