He is not tech savvy enough to do this for himself, so I have his blessing to "describe" him. I have known Uncle Michael all my life. In spite of being developmentally disabled, I know him to be high functioning as he has lived independently for the majority of his adult life, works part-time, collects SSI, cooks, cleans, and take care of his 3 cats. He has a good heart and is accepting of anyone who is accepting of him. His "worst" habit is being a movie fanatic;) His second passion is Special Olympics, which he has participated in for nearly 50 years. Still, he makes time to swim and read the newspaper everyday, and attend church on Sundays. For my/his adult life, he has always desired a special person in his life. I have always done what I could to facilitate, but it is yet to be. So together we are taking this next step online. If nothing else, he would love someone nice to talk to.
