Hi my name is Alan and I live in Angus, Scotland. I have cerebral palsy which basically affects muscle movement but with me, it only really affects my speech. I can still carry out everyday tasks such as walking, driving and swimming. In fact I swam for the UK team at the paralympics in Sydney, Atlanta and Barcelona, so I'm pretty much like any other guy.

I spend a lot of my time listening to music mostly rock and pop stuff. My hobby is to create my own music and I have been lucky enough to be able to produce a CD of my songs. I also enjoy going to concerts including most recently the 'Rewind Festival' at Scone Palace.
