I am easy going, love life, love God and all that they encompass. I have a contagious personality, a great sense of humor, and am relentless in my pursuits. Although a vehicular accident left me paralyzed 22 years ago, it did not change who I was, my attitude, nor what I enjoy. I chose to embrace it, learn from it and continue to live life fully. Through it, I have grown stronger, with humility and tenacity. It has left me with a greater appreciation for the various paths of this life, realizing it should be lived to the fullest. I have been told, and believe it to be true, that I am less disabled then many who are not in a wheelchair. I am extremely independent, and spontaneous. My cup is always half full...a tendency to laugh at my own life situations on a daily basis. I ran for 20 years, even a couple Dallas White Rock marathons. I've never met a stranger. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He has blessed me, protected and tested me. He's taken me down some difficult paths to learn the lessons. He continues to live beautifully within me. I am a very spiritually-guided person. If respect, consideration, integrity, kindness, and laughter are in the equation, the rest is but a roller coaster ride. I wouldn't ask any thing of you that I wouldn't ask of myself. I am my own worst critic and my best adviser. The Golden Rule is the one I live by. We all make mistakes. It's how we handle them that makes us who we are. Some may only get one chance at it in this life and this one is short. Too short for restrictions, fear, or conventional guidelines. I'm looking for a man that knows how to laugh, live live, and love. I was born on the back of a horse, (and have the pictures to prove it). Then I moved to the city. I don't mind getting my hands dirty, but I like the city life too.
